Airbnb is the world's largest travel company. Strategic partnerships are key to building brand trust, navigating policy and community concerns, and unlocking opportunities in priority markets. From 2021 – 2025 Atalanta worked with Airbnb to develop and deliver a UK partnerships strategy that delivered on these goals—from landmark collaborations like Eurovision in Liverpool to a first-of-its-kind pilot with Women's Aid and the Mayor of London, alongside thought leadership with POLITICO, the LSE, and EY.

The challenge

Our solution
Developed and delivered a UK partnerships strategy, now seen as best practice by Airbnb globally. Launched high-profile partnerships with Women's Aid, Mayor of London, the Liverpool City Region, UK City of Culture, and English Heritage.
Led research and events with major institutions including POLITICO, the LSE, Centre for Cities, and EY.
Created thought leader posts for Airbnb leaders to champion the brand's values and partnerships—organically and through paid promotion on LinkedIn.
Helped Airbnb navigate complex topics including housing, domestic abuse, and tourism policy through credible partnerships and aligned campaigns.
Our impact
Helped Airbnb shift perceptions with UK policymakers, media, and the public—delivering trusted relationships, high-impact media coverage, and reputational resilience in sensitive areas like housing and domestic abuse. Thought leadership content helped amplify success stories and drove engagement in key policy moments.
“Atalanta are one of the best agency partners I've worked with. They think strategically, communicate clearly, and manage complex programmes to drive maximum public impact. The team are excellent — and I'd recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for serious public affairs support.”
