The challenge
In a time of rising hatred and antisemitism, taking the time to reflect on where prejudice can lead has never been more important. Since late 2022, we have supported the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust (HMDT) to raise awareness of the Holocaust and recent genocides recognised as such by the UK government, and in Darfur. We have navigated a complex geopolitical and public opinion landscape to increase coverage and drive impact for HMDT’s message of hope and engagement.
Our solution
Developed an overarching narrative and key messages that enabled HMDT to navigate a very challenging geopolitical and public opinion environment
Supported survivors of the Holocaust and recent genocides to tell their stories, ensuring that the media took a trauma-informed approach to these engagements
Ensured that live events still achieved their intended communications and stakeholder engagement objectives, despite heightened security considerations
Secured high-level broadcast coverage on BBC News, BBC Breakfast, ITV News, and Sky News, among others
Delivered extensive print and online coverage, including in international, British, and regional outlets
Our impact
Secured high-impact media coverage across broadcast, print, and online, navigating complex geopolitical issues to raise awareness about the dangers of antisemitism and identify-based prejudice.
