The challenge
Despite strong academic credibility and impactful work in Colombia, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and Switzerland, the Jacobs Foundation needed a clearer way to connect its global ambition with its country-level expertise. Its communications did not yet fully reflect the Foundation’s evolving role as a strategic partner to governments, a convener across sectors, and a leading voice on evidence-informed education systems.
Our solution
Led a full rebranding process including developing a new narrative tailored for key audiences, updating the brand identity, redeveloping the website, and refreshing all digital channels
Developed a multi-channel communications strategy aligned to key stakeholders, with tailored tactics spanning global thought leadership, country-level storytelling, leadership visibility, and learning outreach
Delivered an integrated event strategy supporting engagement by senior leadership at critical UN conferences including UNESCO and SDG4 convenings, the Education World Forum, ministerial-level events in Colombia, and high-level discussions on education financing and evidence use
Built relationships with global, sector, and in-country media to increase visibility for the Foundation’s priorities, securing coverage and strategic positioning for initiatives related to learning variability, country systems change, and innovative financing for education
Our impact
Strengthened the Jacobs Foundation’s profile across its focus countries and in global education debates, helping position it as a trusted partner to governments and other key stakeholders. Supported relationship-building with public sector, research, philanthropic, and private sector actors while increasing visibility for the Foundation’s role in shaping evidence-informed policy and systems change.
