The challenge

75% of the world's soils are degraded, threatening food security, ecosystems, and climate stability. The Earth Rover Program uses the novel, non-invasive science of 'soilsmology' to transform our understanding of soil, support global efforts to improve the sustainable use of our soils, and help prevent climate and ecological collapse. The Earth Rover Program needed a partner to maximise its launch moment and drive awareness of its work among global decision-makers.

Launching a global soil science breakthrough

Our solution

  • Developed and executed a global launch strategy, including the creation and design of the inaugural report, positioning the Earth Rover Program at the cutting edge of soil science and as a solution to the joint ecological and climate crises.

  • Drafted a sophisticated narrative framework that translated complex data into actionable insights for policymakers.

  • Secured exclusive coverage in top-tier global, regional, and environmental outlets, positioning the Earth Rover Program as an environmental leader in publications read by key stakeholders.

  • Facilitated the global online launch event, coordinating a high-level panel to validate the report's findings.

Our impact

Elevated the Earth Rover Program as a recognised leader in soil science, helping to forge connections with key stakeholders and established a robust media foundation for ongoing coverage and engagement.

Quote motif

"Atalanta possesses a rare ability to take complex, technical information and transform it into a compelling global narrative. For the launch of the Earth Rover Program, they ensured that our communications and launch event demonstrated the transformative impact of ‘soilsmology’, the Earth Rover Program’s collaborative new approach to combining soil science with seismology, to our global stakeholders.”
