Atalanta is a social enterprise whose mission is to increase the number of women holding senior government positions worldwide and accelerate programmes that tackle the root causes of gender inequality. We provide communications and political consulting services to a range of clients including: political candidates and parties, government ministries, NGOs, and corporations.

Experience & Skills

Atalanta is seeking a full-time, client-facing social media manager, based in London. Successful candidates will have at least 4 years’ experience managing social media engagement strategy and implementation in a corporate, campaign, or agency setting. We’re looking for a candidate who is agile and can easily juggle a variety of clients and responsibilities while remaining highly professional.

Excellent analytical and writing skills are essential—the ability to write concise, clear, and engaging copy is a core requirement of this role. An in-depth understanding of and experience with a range of social media platforms and toolsets is also required.

Basic photo editing and graphic design skills (Adobe Suite, Visage, Canva, etc.) are preferred, but not required.

English language fluency is a requirement. Additional language skills may be needed for specific projects, so please indicate your language capabilities.

Responsibilities

At the outset, the successful candidate will be responsible for social media management on behalf of a core set of three corporate clients. Additional opportunities will be available to engage in Atalanta’s work on behalf of NGOs and political campaigns, but the main focus of the work will be corporate.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing engaging and creative social media content, across a range of formats and platforms;

  • Providing strategic guidance to clients, tailored to their specific objectives, target audiences and requirements;

  • Developing and implementing paid promotion strategies across a range of platforms (including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google Ads);

  • Coordinating with graphic designers and video editors and developing recommendations for compelling graphic and video content; and

  • Compiling reports analysing performance of social campaigns, and making strategic recommendations based on insights drawn from the data.

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and industry standards.
