In a competitive category, Austyn’s commitment to impact and purpose stood out to the judges who observed “Austyn’s purpose is clear, and it’s wonderful to see this shine through his work.”
Over his career, Austyn has used his integrated communications expertise to lead impactful campaigns addressing critical issues, including gender equality, global public health, and education. In particular, the award recognised his flair for creativity and ability to balance commercial success with social impact, championing people and principles.
The judges also praised Austyn’s commitment to improving community engagement and representation across the communications industry, through networking and mentoring aspiring communications professionals from underrepresented backgrounds.
